What Happens When the Web Is No Longer Free

Yesterday The New York Times announced that their website will be going behind a paywall, effective March 28. You can find all the details here.

What will happen if you use the site for teaching purposes? As of now, we can't be sure. Each 'user' will have access to 20 free articles a month, but will each 'user' log in separately with his or her own information, or will each computer's unique IP address count as a user? In that case, a computer in a campus lab will reach its monthly quota very quickly.

I'll do my best to gather information on this topic, and if you learn something, please share it with us.
