Korean University Students Confronting Stereotypes

Kerri is an English teacher in Korea, and she made this video examining some commonly-held stereotypes about Koreans with her students this week. Read about the project in this blog post from Asia Society. If you do a lesson on stereotypes, this might be a great way to prompt a piece of writing or a class discussion.

  1. This is very cute and witty. We were just talking about body language in my Pop Culture Elective class trying to figure out why do Asians actors/singers use fewer facial expressions than Westerners.
I will definitely show the class this video nest time.
    Thanks Heather.

  3. Laszlo, let us know what the students say about the video. I'm curious!
