The Presidential Election at TELC
Are you talking about the presidential election in class? I've heard teachers say their classes have done debate analysis, studied the workings of the electoral college, and examined the issues the candidates have been raising. Today I overheard some classroom talk about the debt ceiling and trade embargoes, so I know our students are thinking about these issues. Our students may not be able to voice their opinion in the actual election, but we are interested in their thoughts regardless. Let them know we will be holding our own presidential election at TELC, and each of them will get to cast a vote.
DIP AM and PM classes will vote on Monday, November 5. Evening classes will vote on both November 5 and November 6. Saturday students will be able to vote on either October 27 or November 3. Please plan ahead and make time in your classes for this.
Ballots will be put in teacher mailboxes for in-class voting, and our counter staff will tally the results by program. We'll share the results as soon as they are ready.
